AOASM Career Fair

The AOASM will be hosting the 5th annual Career Fair at this year’s Clinical Conference in Colorado Springs. This will be a great opportunity for job seekers and employers alike! Employers have the opportunity to submit job postings for viewing and job seekers have the opportunity to submit their curriculum vitae (CV) for viewing. If requested we will also provide an area for interviews on site, pending space availability.

How It Works: There is one price per job announcement of $50 USD. The job announcement is then displayed at the on-site Career Fair. Fellowship announcements may also be submitted. There will be a separate viewing binder on-site for Fellowships. (We can only accept AOA-Approved Sports Medicine Fellowships. ACGME Fellowships cannot be accepted for posting.) There is no charge for job seekers to submit their CV to the Career Fair on-site.  Bring several copies of your CV to the exhibit area and look for the on-site career booth for further instructions.

The On-Site Career Booth: The on-site Career booth is located in the exhibit area. The booth will be open during exhibit hours, March 6-8, 2013. Employers do not have to be present. Announcements will be placed as hard copies in binders for viewing. There will be binders for Available Positions and Fellowships. Each job announcement will have a designated folder where job seekers will have the opportunity to confidentially place their CVs. Job seekers may also include their CVs in a separate binder, allowing employers to view them on-site. Remember that the attendees at the AOASM conference include board-certified physicians, athletic trainers, residents, interns, and students. Another excellent way to effectively use your recruiting dollars is to rent a booth for your Company/Organization in the AOASM Exhibit Area during the conference. More and more employers are using this method to increase their visibility to prospective employees.

How to Participate: Please email your job announcements and contact information in a word document or in the body of your email to Brooke Miller, AOASM Meeting Planner at bmiller@reesgroupinc.com. A confirmation email and an invoice will be sent.
