The American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine during the OMED 2011 October meeting will attempt to demonstrate and elaborate the defining issues of our Academy:
1) An afternoon of Division I team physicians from Notre Dame Duke, Virginia Tech, Florida, Pittsburg discussing Concussion, Return to Play, Doping, Heat Illness, PPE;
2) An Orthopedic Surgeon’s conclave on shoulder intervention and rehab, Bone tumors , ACL Repair
3) A group of integrative proponents discussing Acupuncture, Nutrition, Botanicals, PRP, Prolotherapy and MSK Ultrasound Needle Guidance and Stem Cells;
4) Internal Medicine symposia on eating disorders, dermatology, GI, and Cardiovascular Screening in the PPE.
5) OMM lecture in the Training Room, Travel Medicine and Honduran Prolotherapy Experience .
