What is your favorite aspect of AOASM? The AOASM is an organization which fully embodies the sub-specialty of Primary Care Sports Medicine which I chose to pursue after my Family Practice residency. The best part of being a member is attending the annual conference which I look forward to every year - not only for the ease of AOA CME credit submission (nice!) - but the camaraderie, friendships and networking. I love meeting the interested students and residents and sharing WHY I love our field of Sports Medicine. I appreciate all the hard work put into the planning of every conference and look for ways to improve my practice through the didactics and discussion with peers.

What is your favorite AOASM conference memory? I have so many! We had a blast riding in a small little pod (aka Austin Powers and Dr. Evil) to the top of the St. Louis Arch, having a Bourbon Passport in Louisville (dangerous), The Casino Night in Tampa after my Award of Fellows dinner was so so much fun, and going out to dinner in the Gayborhood in Philly!

What team(s) or sport(s) do you cover? Lake County Catholic High School; Lake County Captains Baseball (Single A) (Haven't started yet, but look forward to adding this on. I helped cover as a Fellow with Dave Gealt, DO FAOASM - Hi Dave!)
