Summary:

During this webinar you will gain a better understanding of the scapula's role in overhead athletes, and you will discover evidenced-based office assessment techniques for scapula injuries. 

Dr. Tom Goodwin is a Primary Care Sports Medicine specialist with fellowship training in Sports Medicine. Dr. Goodwin completed his undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University and earned his osteopathic medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. 

Dr. Goodwin completed his residency training in Family Practice with emphasis on Sports Medicine at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After residency, completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. 

Dr. Goodwin is currently the Director of Borgess Sports Medicine and is the head team physician for the Kalamazoo FC soccer team. He also serves as a coach for Borgess Run Camp and as the medical director for the Kalamazoo Marathon and Borgess Run for the Health of It. 

The American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.  The AOASM designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 of AOA Category 1-A credits, and will report CME commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation. To receive Category 1A CME credits, you must complete a CME reporting rorm, which will be emailed to all attendees after completion of the webinar.
