Here is some Q&A with Dr. Quinn!

What is your favorite aspect of AOASM? The AOASM has been a source of mentorship, education, inspiration, and lifelong friendships. I would not be where I am in my career without the AOASM! Everyone in the AOASM is so approachable and willing to help one another. This has been evident since my first year as an AOASM member as a medical student. It is a close knit family. I can easily call up or email someone across the country with a question, send them a referral or connect them with a medical student, resident or fellow.
What is your favorite AOASM conference memory? There are so many favorite AOASM memories! It’s hard to pick just one! The thing I love the most is when we all get together and go out for a sporting event. In Anaheim some of us ventured to a Dodger’s game and had a blast. When we were in Providence, we took the train for standing room only at a Red Sox game in Boston. In Louisville we hung out on the patio deck at the minor league Bats game. In Philadelphia we got hooked up with a Phillies game. In Las Vegas we enjoyed a minor league 51’s game. At these games we could just wind down and enjoy the game and good company without worrying about providing coverage for it!
What team(s) or sport(s) do you cover?
