What is your favorite aspect of AOASM? I have met many compassionate, hard-working physicians through AOASM. I thoroughly enjoy the kind spirit of collaboration among our colleagues. The willingness to spread knowledge and to serve one another is something I noticed first within members of the AOASM. As I get further along in my career, I hope to be able to pay forward the mentorship and guidance that was bestowed upon me by physicians in the AOASM.
What is your favorite AOASM conference memory? Presenting my fellowship original research project as an oral presentation at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas remains a highlight of my experiences within the AOASM. As a result, I engaged with many physicians after my presentation who wanted to discuss my project, and I'm happy to say these physicians remain great colleagues I've stayed in touch with to this day.
What team(s) or sport(s) do you cover? I'm one of two primary care physicians for all of our CMU athletes, so the sports I cover range from the football team and the women's basketball team, to the men's basketball team, the gymnastics team, and the wrestling team.
